This September AKTEX Inc. participated in the 20th jubilee automotive component show AUTOMECHANIKA 2008 (Frankfurt). It was organized by MESSE FRANKFURT (Germany), the world largest exhibition company with branches in 15 countries. The organizers has been constantly increasing the show geography that now covers 13 countries. This year AKTEX Inc. participated in one of AUTOMECHANIKA shows in Dubai, UAE (01.06.08-03.06.08).  According to organizer’s press-report, the exhibition “set new records this year, with more than 166,000 visitors from a total of 146 countries and 4,680 exhibitors from 80 countries.” The event encompassed the full range of parts of motor vehicles, as well as components for drive, chassis, body, electrics and electronic groups, equipment for vehicle service and repair, bodywork repair and painting, tires and, naturally, batteries. AUTOMECHANIKA covered all 9 halls of the huge Messe Frankfurt exhibition center. AKTEX Inc. occupied the booth in Parts&Components section next to Audi and Volkswagen. Of 44 automotive battery producers at the show, AKTEX was the only exhibitor from Russia. According to the company President Valery Afanasiev, “the show fully justified our expectations – during 6 days of the show we established contacts with more than 200 potentional partners. Particular interest was expressed by battery distributors from Italy, Greece, Germany, France, Poland and UK. The visitors noted peculiar design of our batteries and admired unusual ambitions of a Russian company, aspiring to enter the highly competitive European market.”
